Cavendish Exclusive Medical Checkup Packages
At Cavendish Health International, we stress the critical importance of checkups as one method of preventive care. A general evaluation of your health and an early diagnosis of possible diseases that have not been detected yet can save you a great deal of trouble and stress.
Early Checkup Benefits
Having a checkup means a person is taking care of their own health and wellbeing. Early diagnosis is extremely important in some diseases, especially cancer and cardiac conditions. Therefore, early diagnosis of such diseases as a result of checkup scans also increases the success of treatment. Early awareness and early treatment in all areas of medicine and for every disease will increase anyone’s quality of life and may even prolong it. Tests that should be in most checkups are:
Blood count, organ functions blood tests (liver, kidney, etc.), sedimentation, cholesterol and lipid levels, thyroid, (goiter) test, hepatitis (jaundice) test, complete urine analysis, whole abdominal ultrasonography, chest radiography, electrocardiography, and a blood in stool test.
Everyone over the age of 40 is recommended to have additional tests for eye examination, cardiological examinations, and cancer screening, whether or not they have familial risk, in addition to the standard tests. Those with familial risk should not wait until the age of 40 to have these tests. Those in the risk group should have additional tests done about the risks they bear starting at the age of 30.
What to Expect in a Checkup?
- The medical examination process starts with a preliminary appointment with one of our specially selected Cavendish Health International specialists, where personal risk factors and needs are determined.
- After the best program is selected for you, all necessary tests and examinations are initiated. A second discussion with the same specialist is then scheduled, at which all of the results of the tests and examinations are reported; the results are reviewed, and the patient is informed about any necessary measures.
- Your Patient Host will work closely with you throughout the process in order to ensure rapid checkup and, crucially, that you are fully informed of any further steps that may be advised. If necessary, your Patient Host will coordinate with you.
